Design Submission Guidelines for T-Shirts & Favors

We're excited to announce a family design contest for our 2026 reunion t-shirts and favors! We invite all creative family members to submit their artwork for a chance to have their design featured and win a special prize.

Submission Guidelines:

​

1. Theme: Designs should reflect the spirit of the Brown Family Reunion, "FamJam26," and may incorporate elements related to family, togetherness, and celebration. While not mandatory, incorporating the colors of the Jamaican flag (black, gold, and green) is encouraged, in line with our reunion theme.

2. Original Artwork: All submitted artwork must be original and created by the submitting family member.

3. File Format: Please submit your designs in a digital format. Acceptable file types include:

   • JPEG (.jpg)

   • PNG (.png)

   • Vector files (AI, EPS, SVG) are preferred for scalability, especially for t-shirt designs.

4. Resolution: For raster images (JPEG, PNG), please ensure a high resolution (at least 300 DPI) for clear printing.

5. Submission Method: Please email your design(s) as an attachment to Brownfamilyreunion0720@gmail.com with the subject line: "FamJam26 Design - [Your Name]".

6. Submission Deadline: All designs must be submitted by December 1, 2025

Waiver and Artist Agreement:

By submitting your artwork, you agree to the following:

​

• Waiver of Use: You grant the Brown Family and its affiliates (including the reunion organizing committee) the irrevocable, royalty-free right to use, reproduce, modify, and distribute the submitted artwork in any media (including but not limited to t-shirts, favors, website, social media, and other promotional materials) for the purpose of the Brown FamJam26 Family Reunion and future Brown Family-related events.

• Artist Authority: You represent and warrant that you are the sole creator and owner of the submitted artwork and have the exclusive right and authority to submit the artwork and grant the usage rights stated herein. You confirm that the artwork does not infringe upon the copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights of any third party.

Winner Selection & Prize:

​

Opt. 1 A selection committee comprised of family members will review all submissions based on creativity, relevance to the theme, and suitability for t-shirt and favor production.

Opt 2. Submissions will be posted online for a vote of the family.  Voting date and time will be posted by the Communication Committee. (Artist name will not be included and will not be announced until ----during the reunion)

The winning design will be announced on ________

The winner will receive reimbursement for their accommodations* to attend the Brown FamJam26 Family Reunion for one person (this Does Not include travel). *Accommodation costs, up to a pre-determined limit within the rates listed).
